Abstract

Multisensory approaches in language learning integrate visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile modalities to enhance learners' engagement, memory retention, and language acquisition. This paper explores the theoretical foundations and practical benefits of multisensory strategies in teaching foreign languages, especially English as a Second/Foreign Language (ESL/EFL). Based on classroom observations and comparative experimental data, the study reveals that multisensory instruction significantly improves learners' vocabulary retention, pronunciation accuracy, and overall communicative competence. Pedagogical implications for diverse learner profiles are also discussed.
