Ushbu maqola chet tilini o‘rgatish pedagoglarining kasbiy malakasini rivojlantirishda samarali baholash strategiyalarini ishlab chiqishning ahamiyatini ko‘rib chiqadi. Baholash jarayonlari pedagogik kompetentsiyalarni rivojlantirishga xizmat qiluvchi vositalar sifatida nafaqat nazariy, balki amaliy tomondan ham taqdim etiladi. Maqolada, ta'lim jarayonida o‘quvchilarning ilgari surilgan maqsad va vazifalar bo‘yicha o‘zgarishlarini kuzatish, shuningdek, o‘qituvchilarning metodik tayyorgarliklarini baholash usullari keng tahlil qilinadi. Shuningdek, baholashning turli xil shakllari – formativ, summativ, o‘z-o‘zini baholash va tengdoshlarning fikr-mulohazalari kabi vositalar hamda portfelni yaratishning pedagogik ahamiyati ta'kidlanadi.
