Abstract

Learner interaction is a central element of effective English language teaching because language develops through meaningful communication, cooperation, negotiation of meaning, and purposeful use. In many traditional EFL classrooms, learners often receive linguistic knowledge passively through explanation, translation, and controlled exercises, but they have limited opportunities to use English in real communicative situations. This situation may cause low confidence, weak speaking fluency, and dependence on the teacher. Task-Based Language Teaching offers an effective pedagogical solution by organizing lessons around meaningful tasks that require learners to exchange information, solve problems, make decisions, and produce communicative outcomes.
