Abstract

The article examines the role of individualized approaches in English language education as a function of managing cognitive activities, freedom in choosing educational activities, and the ability to design personal educational trajectories. Social expectations demand the fullest development of a child's personal characteristics, testing their strengths in activities related to their intended occupation, exploring various ways to meet communication needs, and improving students' communicative skills. These requirements can be met if the educational process is highly individualized.
