DEVELOPMENT OF THE SYSTEM FOR THE PROTECTION OF WOMEN’S RIGHTS IN UZBEKISTAN

The article examines the historical, social, and legal aspects of the status of women in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the role of women from traditional society to the modern stage of development, as well as to the analysis of legislation aimed at ensuring gender equality. The issues of women's participation in political and professional spheres, as well as existing socio-psychological problems, are explored. The conclusion is made that a stable system of legal protection for women is being formed in Uzbekistan
