This article discusses the importance of intercultural communicative competence in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL). In the context of globalization, learning English requires not only linguistic knowledge but also the ability to communicate effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. The article examines the relationship between language and culture, the role of teachers in developing intercultural awareness, and the use of communicative activities and technology in EFL classrooms. It also highlights the significance of tolerance, empathy, and cultural understanding in successful communication. The study concludes that intercultural communicative competence is an essential component of modern foreign language education and contributes to the formation of globally minded individuals.
