Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of teaching English to technical school students in the context of modern vocational and professional education. English has become an essential tool for communication, access to scientific information, professional development, and participation in the global labor market. For students of technical schools, English proficiency is particularly important because many technical manuals, software programs, scientific publications, and technological resources are available primarily in English. The study highlights the importance of applying innovative teaching methods, communicative approaches, and technology-based learning tools to improve students’ language competence. Special attention is given to the integration of professional vocabulary, practical communication skills, and industry-related content into English language instruction. The article also discusses the challenges faced by technical school students in learning English and proposes effective pedagogical strategies to increase motivation and learning outcomes. The findings suggest that a professionally oriented approach to English language teaching significantly enhances students’ communicative competence and prepares them for future professional activities.
