Mazkur maqolada sun‘iy intellekt (SI) asosidagi mashina tarjimasi texnologiyalarining tarjimonlik kasbiga ta‘siri ko‘p tomonlama tahlil etiladi. Transformer-arxitekturasi va neyron tarjima tizimlari rivojlanishi bilan mashina tarjimasi sifati tubdan yaxshilangan bo‘lsa-da, madaniy moslashuv, badiiy matn va ixtisoslashgan kontekst kabi sohalarda inson tarjimoni o‘z ahamiyatini saqlab qolmoqda. Tadqiqot "yo‘q qilish" va "rivojlantirish" kabi ikki qarama-qarshi nuqtai nazarni qiyosiy tarzda o‘rganib, tarjimonlik kasbining kelajagiga oid ilmiy asoslangan xulosalar taqdim etadi
