Abstract

The internationalization of higher education is increasingly recognized as a critical factor for improving academic quality, fostering innovation, and enhancing global competitiveness. Uzbekistan’s higher education institutions (HEIs) are striving to establish and strengthen international partnerships to align with global trends and standards. This study explores strategies for enhancing international collaborations in Uzbek HEIs by identifying key challenges, opportunities, and best practices. Using a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews with university administrators and quantitative analysis of partnership outcomes, this paper highlights actionable strategies for fostering effective partnerships. Key recommendations include policy reforms, capacity building, leveraging digital tools, and promoting cultural exchange programs.
