Improving the fuel efficiency of automotive engines is one of the major challenges in modern automotive engineering. Increasing fuel prices, limited energy resources, and environmental concerns have encouraged researchers and engineers to develop more efficient engine technologies. The fuel supply process plays a significant role in determining engine performance, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions. The accuracy of fuel delivery, the quality of air–fuel mixture formation, injection timing, and fuel pressure directly influence combustion efficiency.
