IMPROVEMENT OF THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ROAD SAFETY SERVICE OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS BODIES IN THE PREVENTION OF OFFENSES

This article is devoted to the issues of improving the activities of the road safety service of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the prevention of offenses. The article analyzes the regulatory framework and identifies existing shortcomings in the activities - the lack of a system of preventive measures, insufficient information and analytical work, and the limited use of modern technologies. Practical proposals were put forward for the implementation of digital monitoring systems, strengthening legal awareness among the population, and developing regional cooperation. The experience of the Vision Zero concept and community-oriented approaches used in road safety prevention in foreign countries has been studied, and ways to adapt it to the conditions of Uzbekistan have been shown. The research results can contribute to reducing traffic violations and ensuring public safety
