Abstract

The article examines the specifics of designing energy-efficient, mid-rise residential buildings. It analyzes historical and contemporary experiences in the design and construction of energy-efficient housing. The study explores the unique characteristics of energy-efficient buildings tailored to the climate conditions of the Northwestern region of Uzbekistan. The fundamental principles of designing energy-efficient buildings are outlined, and an experimental model of a mid-rise energy-efficient residential building is presented. Furthermore, the article highlights the relevance of energy-efficient residential housing for Uzbekistan, as well as the role of energy-efficient development in the advancement of new rural areas. Finally, a practical construction example is provided, demonstrating the efficiency of utilizing mid-rise multi-family buildings in the development of rural areas within the Tashkent region.
