This article explores the theoretical and methodological foundations of developing media culture among young people in the context of globalization. The rapid expansion of digital technologies, social media platforms, and global information exchange has transformed the ways in which young people access, evaluate, and share information. As a result, media culture has become an essential component of education, promoting responsible media consumption, critical thinking, and digital competence. The study examines the influence of mass media and digital communication on young people's values, social behavior, and cultural identity. It also analyzes methodological approaches for integrating media education into the educational process, emphasizing competency-based learning, media literacy, and information security. The findings suggest that strengthening youth media culture through modern educational strategies contributes to the development of informed, critical, and socially responsible individuals who are capable of navigating the challenges of the global information environment while preserving their cultural identity.
