ADOLESCENT TOBACCO SMOKING AS A SOCIAL, MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM

Smoking is one of the main causes of the occurrence and progression of most chronic diseases and related complications, leading to loss of working capacity, early disability, and death. At the same time, smoking remains one of the most common bad habits that have affected a significant part of the population. The alarming rates of morbidity among modern children and adolescents determine the need for active identification of adverse factors affecting the formation of abnormalities in the health status of the younger generation.
